Using a web browser view as an audio plugin UI allows for some very weird interactions... 😅

@wonshu all of them, since I am using DPF for this.
I got most of the work needed for it from my work in github.com/moddevices/mod-desk, the only missing part is being able to send&receive data from the DSP side. Once that works nothing stop us from using web tech for plugins UIs in DPF.

@falktx so, another explosion... since it's probably easier to create GUIs with this tech?

@wonshu yes for sure, but not sure I would call it an explosion.

@falktx so why is the audio not passed? And would DSP be happening in a performant way?

This is just the UI, what you see and interact with. DSP runs as usual.
