@gcrkrause I don't hate Capitalism, I hate to have to Get out of Bed.

@gcrkrause Well, because food costs money, because making it costs effort and money and I can't demand someone to git it to me for free so I can just be lazy all the time.

If I decided to grow my own food instead I wouldn't have time to do other things. So I prefer to pay for the food and do other things that give me money so I can buy food.

I'd be a bad food-grower, but I can provide value to people in different ways - money lets me exchange that value for whatever I want or need.

@unfa I am not really against exchange of value. But I am against accumulation of value by taking it from others. So in my utopia you don't need to grow your own good, but you could provide services for others because you want and can, not because you have to earn money.

But I have to admit, you seem to be in the pretty nice situation to be able to earn money with stuff you really enjoy, which is great!

@gcrkrause If the accumulation of value is done forcefully and in a way that harms others - I agree. But even me saving money is an accumulation of value. Isn't it? And unless it's a stolen value I didn't earn rightfully and honestly - don't see anything wrong with it.

@unfa @gcrkrause the solution here is UBI - universal basic income. that is the first step to a general better quality of life, without to have to trade our life-time for it.
I am with @gcrkrause here, capitalism hurts more than it helps. It had its good run, but it is time to replace it. We don't need to keep pump out new "shiny" products every couple of months, it is not sustainable, it is hurting the planet :(
