if one side ignores actual science and facts, how can there be any dialog? we are dealing here with people that do not want to be reasoned with, they just want their way or no-way...
compromise is something that is done on both sides, otherwise it is meaningless.
@falktx @gcrkrause @zrythm I hear the point that we should not treat a fascist with respect because they're bad people with bad ideas. I say treat them with respect anyway. Don't stoop to their level and hate on them. Otherwise, how are you any better than they are?

@falktx @gcrkrause @zrythm I believe there is confusion on the topic. I hear @falktx and @gcrkrause debating right vs. wrong, whereas I'm debating how we treat each other. Those two topics are not and should not be mutually related, and the fact that many people intertwine the two is why I believe there cannot be civil discourse about differences of opinion in modern day societies any longer.
