@suetanvil@mastodon.technology @hoergen I don't think we are going very far only waiting for others to do it.
If you want to have something being done properly, you have to do it yourself.

Everyone is waiting for a fork. But no one is really putting the needed effort and time investment on it.

I wouldn't count on there being a usable Audacity fork that is still kept up to date by next year.
