@falktx No problem :D Is it safe to publish your phone number on the web?
BTW - this looks nice, though I am a graphic designer more than a programmer, so I have a little bit different needs.
Here's what I've made in Inkscape:
@unfa
Are you freaking kidding me, Unfa, skilled in 3D art as well?! What is that you cannot do?
@unfa, it sais "Lanugages" instead of "Languages"
@porru Oh snap! Thank you for spotting that :D
@joeligj12 @falktx @unfa your assumption is wrong. I worked with LaTeX for a few years, and I also used it as an intermediate format in a scripted environment (not sed, though). I just took a good look at all of this and decided that it's a heap of work that is not worth the hassle.
@claudius @falktx @unfa my bad, although in my opinion, since templates are already there where is the hassle on filling them out? Yeah you can spend all the time you want customizing one, but that's not really necessary, or maybe it is but I have not seen Unfa's CV and I have no idea of how complex does it need to be to fit his current one
@falktx Programmers make their CVs in whatever programmers use, but I am an artist :D
@unfa Let me try to convince you.
This little piece of code: https://github.com/falkTX/falktx-web/blob/master/cv/cv.tex
Generates this: https://falktx.com/files/cv.pdf
There are many latex templates out there, mine comes from one of those and just tweaked a bit.
It is nice not having to care about layout (after some initial setup).
I can keep adding/altering stuff and nothing will break.
Sorry for the self-plug 😝
