My new video is public! A lot of people were asking about the difference between Vital and Vitalium wavetable synthesizer plug-ins. In this video I explain the genesis, show
the differences and explain licensing and what is the open-source nature of the two projects. If you're into FOSS electronic music production and haven't checked these out yet - do so!

@unfa that was quite helpful, thank you.

sadly the vital source code has never been updated since its initial debut.
do you happen to know if Matt will ever update it?

@unfa Great video!

@falktx Sad to hear about the lack of update. Would it be possible to release a Windows VST build of Vitalium? Would love to test.

@inscript wait I didnt read correctly, PawPaw provides LV2 only, not VST.
I am reconsidering that, perhaps allowing VST2 for now would be good as a way to make PawPaw more popular.

@falktx It might increase the popularity for non-Linux users. Something to consider for sure. I'm unsure if anyone else is working on a VST build of Vitalium so it may be a good way to attract users to PawPaw. Thanks again for the work you've already put in!
