ok i finally figured out how to set up the misskey deck ui now it's much better (except for widgets not working). seems the secret to make it all usable is to add the column named "main" and set it so it never disappears and every link opens there.

I have tweaked my mastodon instance style so it works better for large/regular pc screens. Actually has been so long I forgot how the original looks like.
