@falktx
This looks promising! Mastering tools to supersede the aged JAMin?

@this
Jamin is a just a Multiband compressor, a basic EQ and a limiter right? Nothing that can't be replaced by some good #linuxaudio plugins (as I do it on a daily basis ;) )

And Jamin had a few phasing issues as far as I remember.
@falktx

@openmastering @this I am too young, jamin was not something I ever used, it was already started being phased out (mainly due to it being standalone) when I started doing things in linux audio.

from what I understand the new plugin can serve as replacement yes, though the same can be achieve in many other ways.

@falktx
I see. Haven't used JAMin, either. And phasing issues can seriously ruin a mix. Other projects seem to have those struggles in common: https://discourse.ardour.org/t/what-about-calf-plugins/105926/5

@falktx oh wow, that looks seriously cool. Not just for podcasts and streaming, but also for unfinished demos of songs, so that can have at least some sort of mastering and a standardized level for all my songs (regardless of it being fished or not).
