ok I think I will go with this for fundamental modules.
could be nicer sure, but this light mode thing is taking waaaaay longer than I expected. so it is what it is.
perfection is the enemy of good, as they say. for me this seems good enough

actually, made the text black so it is more readable. but other colors remain. one less item for 22.09 release!
