@cnx twitter has a way to get very fast access to news will be a sad thing to lose. I know everytime some random event happened, it was already being reported on twitter.
police reported things there directly for interested parties to get info from, among other entities.
so that would be kind of a lost. although one that in theory can just move somewhere else.
I see, @falktx. Neither use case seems to be safe on a service whose sole purpose is to control what you see to maximize ad revenue, hence now I’m glad more are finally given a motivation to move away.
