Alt+f4 is a terrible shortcut to close a window that we've copied from Windows and kept around without ever thinking if it's a good idea or not. f4 is often not present in keyboards, and super unreachable for something as frequent as "close".

ctrl+q for quitting and ctrl+w for closing tab/file/view are super convenient, and I really think that's the direction in which we should be converging.

@whynothugo except when applications fully close when doing a last ctrl+w, that is seriously annoying.
Doing multiple ctrl+w until every tab is closed has its uses, and it used to NOT close the whole thing...

@falktx How do you close a Firefox window? What would happen when you close the last tab?

@whynothugo closing the last tab on firefox closes the window too yes. previously we needed to use ctrl+q to really close it, this changed quite a while ago

@falktx ctrl+q quits Firefox entirely. It didn't just close the current window, it closed all windows.
