a small personal achievement, finally getting rid of the old google account.
was only keeping it for youtube really, but after realizing most of the channels I follow are on alternative services (nebula in specific), it is time to get rid of it.

@hanno that was just after clicking "yes I really want to delete it" prompt.
it surprisingly took 1 second to delete 3 old blogs (didnt even know I had those) plus some private videos, thousands of emails and other misc stuff...
I dont think they deleted anything at all to be honest. but at least my account is no more, for what is publicly perceptible.

Congratulations! It's been a bit of a journey for me as well before I could close that account knowing I won't miss it. But it felt good having cleaned out that corner of my digital existence and not be entangled with Google (as much) anymore :)
And I see they fancied up the confirmation message..? Three years ago is was just text, no images. Or is that from somewhere else?
