@falktx@retr0id we use these for work to connect to some PLCs. Manufacturer chose that because you use this cable OR a mostly standard WiFi USB dongle in the PLC to connect to it. It was easier to use a standard (but rare) cable rather than a custom WiFi USB dongle.
