@woof its a community that I am glad still exists. poor VGMix really tried to keep going even a 2nd time but failed.

on the age of web service centralization, projects like ocremix and even qhimm forums make me glad that some still care about maintaining such communities active

@falktx yeah i remember that vgmix site trying to cling to life for years but jake was too busy with his legit career lol.
but i feel ocremix have really failed to remain culturally relevant i feel. it’s all clinging to a specific turn-of-century era, with judges who have no ear for anything a bit hip hop / industrial / avant garde / etc.
thankfully nowadays they don’t really can gatekeep visibility anymore
