@falktx Of course I do have a bias here. All kinds of biases. But who doesn't? I am sure almost anyone involved in this discussion has some biases.

From what I know small children masturbate as well and up to a certain age it's expected and isn't an issue. Reprimanding the child strongly at that point may cause actual issues. If that activity extends past a certain age though - that's signifying a problem. My wife is a doctor, that's where I sourced this information from.
