Vitalium has been updated, several bugfixes and some LV2 presets now included by default. (note: lv2 presets, not vitalium/plugin-side presets)
If you do not have a way to install or build from source, grab the deb files from https://kx.studio/Repositories:Plugins
Please let me know if you find any more issues. Hopefully we are close to having it stable, so an official release is made.
@unfa thanks for the heads up, I fixed the preset name for now. Though I already had builds triggered for the KXStudio repos, I will update those at a later time.
This is scary but amazing at the same time https://github.blog/2021-03-09-git-clone-vulnerability-announced/
Before you panic, only applies to case-insensitive filesystems. There are steps you can take to mitigate if you are unable to update.
@wolftune feudalism is a way backwards for sure, but as I see it, any alternatives to the current system is good. at least something is changing..
@wolftune also, that "article" is full of big words.. very hard to take any of that seriously.
@wolftune not sure why a youtube video is needed there, but what is written in the report actually makes sense. will be a somewhat-cool experiment to keep our eyes on.
Seems like to me an attempt to create something new. If this succeeds, maybe the idea of micro-economies is not so far fetched.
I'm streaming Vital(ium) sound design today!

Since the community version needs some patches - we'll be making those!
Feel free to notify your friends too :)

@rghvdberg@sonomu.club Yay for opensource! This is likely the entry point you need: https://github.com/moddevices/mod-host/blob/master/src/effects.c#L2173
@unfa is there a recording to watch after the stream is over?
@sjaehn is there a non-video version?
@be Ask on the LV2 mailing list then. I do not think this is the place for such questions..
@unfa
I actually built and run that once, on Linux. But it was quite uninteresting as they disable plugins
