As scheduled, I just tagged Ildaeil's first release.
You can now enjoy your LV2 plugins everywhere! \o/

This is a mini-host acting as a plugin, allowing you to load (for now only) LV2 plugins inside any other LV2, VST2 or VST3 host.
It is actually Carla doing all the heavy lifting behind the scenes, you just don't see any of it.

No parameter automation yet, and won't focus on it for the time being. If you can live without that, maybe a nice tool for you.

Just got LV2 plugins working inside Cubase and FL Studio.
This feels sooo wrong haha 😂

Resizing doesn't seem to work on Cubase, don't know why, but audio does which is the important part.

Anyone with some free time wants to help out test Ildaeil for the mini-host plugin?
It is an audio plugin (LV2, VST2 and VST3) that loads other audio plugins. For now it only loads internal Carla plugins and LV2, it is enough for now.
I am hoping to tag its first release tomorrow.

The livechat reports everything ok.

@unfa something to potentially try for next livestream. Let me know if it breaks anything else.

FYI I am updating KXStudio peertube instance, in order to try out the livestream livechat feature.

Should have been earlier, but there were a couple of things I wanted to verify first. With Carla being used now in Cardinal and Ildaeil projects, I found a couple new issues to solve which delayed it too.
But it is tagged now, enjoy! :)

Still early days, but finally got some sound out, even if choppy and unstable.

One day my full suite of tools will run on Haiku, we are not there yet, but we are one step closer.

With HaikuOS Xlibe compat thing we can use some stock X11 code directly in Haiku, nice!
glx doesn't work yet, but cairo stuff does.

I need opinions/suggested for Cardinal's short description.

Something like...
"A Eurorack-style virtual modular synthesis toolkit" or "modular synthesizer audio plugin"
don't like either of them tbh.
it's hard to make a nice and short description that describes it well enough.

Let me know if you got any suggestions you think are good.
