No one asked for this, but have you thought of running Carla and plugins on the browser?

I have been studying and testing web assembly recently, using emscripten to compile regular C++ code.
There are quite some restrictions and quirkiness (everything runs on the main thread, even audio), but with some effort it is possible to make it work.

First real test, Ildaeil-Synth.

Quite some fixes done on Cardinal side today, but no release. One thing I want to fix got sidetracked while we found a few other things to fix on stream.
But there is always tomorrow.

I am going to start doing some live stream tests in the next few days, trying to setup everything needed for a smooth experience.
Feel free to ignore them, best to have no pressure to make them look good at first.

Something like...

1. Waking up at 3am
2. Have breakfast while catching up on things
3. Do some work for a few hours
4. Break at 9am for lunch and groceries
5. Any other pending work
6. Stop when temps get too high again, for sleep till next day

Doesn't seem like the worst of plans.
Let's see if I can actually do it though...

Hot weather has come, really cannot deal with it.
So I am wondering about:

1. Getting up early while it is still dark, doing some work, and then resting while temps rise

2. Waking up late while still hot, work during the night and rest shortly after sun rises

In the past I did option 2 regularly, but now I need to participate on meetings so option 1 will have to do.

"breaking" more like changing how it works, leading to breakage in software that was assuming a certain behaviour.
still very shitty to do...

On Linux land it is always "we dont break userspace".
Apple seems more like "screw you, we do what we want, now give us money" 🤷
