@unfa I read their ToS before, it was the usual BS and more.
1st they define what words mean, that they are bound by this and that countries laws; then some branding; no warranty etc; then comes what they allow you to do; then some user data logged and sometimes recorded but only in order to improve the product (promise!); then list of partners this data is shared with (not counting companies owned by them or the government); and finally something on how ToS still valid even one term is void

@unfa for things like these, I usually go to RMS' site first, usually there is a good collection of reasons on why not to use a specific service.

It is a release candidate, sure, but now tagged and will receive bug-fixes only. Try it out and let me know how it works for you.
I always include pre-built binaries for Linux, macOS and Windows.

@unfa carla is coming with some nice surprises, but I got stuck with the macos builds :( later on then...

@zrythm being P2P is a big problem, at least for me. You cannot focus on privacy while going P2P. afaik peertube does not have the means to pay artists that want to make a living out of it, so having it never "deplatform" users does not mean much until that happens.

@unfa yes, as using a midi sequencer without being able to record notes is quite the killer

@unfa I setup a dedicated mailbox.org account to use for kx.studio related things. I was already using them for my falktx@falktx.com mail, so this was easy to setup.

mostly you just need to put a custom DNS TXT entry so that they (mailbox) can verify you own the domain, then you can have your mailbox.org act as unfa.xyz.
I think you can have up to 5 accounts like this

of course, other email services work too. except google/gmail, they require business account for that
