@sjaehn to come back to this, I added bslizr-uwu as a package in the kxstudio repositories now
It is 2021 and Signal is still not on f-droid. Devs prefer to recommend using Google services or download the apk manually.
This is insane, right?
(for reference, just look up "fdroid" on the signal-android bug tracker... it is a mess)

This is a very interesting take on floss devs/maintainers that end up "ghosting" its own project at some point.
Can totally understand the frustration for tickets that pile up faster than we can fix them... 😔
