The KXStudio September 2021 Monthly Report is here, a short but valid one.
It is all with DPF this time around, preparing for future things.

PS: DPF is almost 10 years old!

Opinions wanted!

Say you are looking to make some audio plugins and release them commercially.
Is this page clear enough in regards to licensing?

If yes or no, please describe why.

Thank you!

This Sunday is the time for another #unfa monthly livestream!

I'll be making some music with #BespokeSynth, playing your music submissions, answering questions about libre audio production and Linux etc, and generally having a good time!

Seems some crypto people started following me. So I started blocking them.

My new video is public! A lot of people were asking about the difference between Vital and Vitalium wavetable synthesizer plug-ins. In this video I explain the genesis, show
the differences and explain licensing and what is the open-source nature of the two projects. If you're into FOSS electronic music production and haven't checked these out yet - do so!

Doing some experiments with direct github.com/ocornut/imgui support in DPF.
One great thing from imgui is the absurd amount of existing widgets made for it.

So with a few lines of code I have a full blown text editor.
Integrates well into other things (ie, plugin GUIs)

Just need to sort out a few details regarding text/user input, and we are set for expanding the stuff DPF can do :D

@yourhero @rghvdberg its not experimental. All of them are checked by several national or international health agencies. They are not dangerous. None of them is introducing serious health issues to healthy people. Stop spreading wrong information without proof.

@yourhero @rghvdberg and the vaccine does not compromise the immune system, it is preparing it which actually results in far less serious problems, far less long covid and far less deaths.

If you talk about horse medicine to me you make it to my block list.

Michael "Vsauce" Stevens is back!

It has been a while since he published a full-length video that was not part of "Youtube Red" or "Mind Field", happy to see him take back the channel for the old/previous content that made him famous.

The newest entry: "Do chairs exist?".
With just a little below 38 minutes in length 😂

I missed you Vsauce 😊

Why you do not use XMPP?

Please share your opinions.

The privacy policy is also not that great, as they use google maps for the interactive view but nowhere on the privacy policy is that even mentioned. Only that they share some data with official partners.
Can my municipality be partners with Google? 🤔

I am truly amazed by the amount that some people really don't care about privacy, somehow it got to my municipal public transport having "Lorem ipsium" place holder text for its cookie usage descriptions 🤦‍♂️
Am I the first to see this? How is this even a thing?

Already wrote to them complaining, wtf...

The Libre Music Challenge is a friendly competition happening every month, where partakers make a piece of music on a given theme or using a given open-source tool and enjoy the creativity and learning that ensues! After the submission deadline is up, everyone votes to pick a winner! (There's no prizes handed out other than the eternal glory as a LMC winner).

This month''s theme is: THE 80s Synthwave / Newwave.
